We are located in rural Lignite, ND (about 100 m NW of Minot)   In the heart of a farming and ranching community. Monte works as a farm and ranch hand  & also raises pigs.  I consider myself a stay at home mom but I do work 2 days a week to support my dogs. haha! Together we have 4 children that we are very proud of.   They play a very active role with our Cavy's & even at their young age, offer a lot of help. This is truly a family passion and we all work together for the common goal to provide you with the best furbaby ever!

Raising  puppies is a hobby and passion of mine.  I was drawn to the Cavalier King Charles because of their wonderful temperament, extreme beauty, and overall practicality as a family pet.  Anyone would be pleased to have this lil dog grace their home!  I started raising this breed and the Cavalier Bichon cross about 4years  ago.  I have great support and help through my vets, whom I worked for for 5yrs.   My sister in law has also been of great influence and help.  She raised this breed for nearly 10yrs and I took over for her.  I hope to continue her dream to improve upon our bloodlines and make it possible for others to fall in love with this little dog that had our hearts from hello!

Sometimes when people come to our home they are a bit overwhelmed with the activity or 4 young children and several dogs in our home.  Yes, they keep me very busy, BUT without the hustle and bustle of city life and the fact I am doing what I always dreamed, it really doesn't seem like  work at all for me!  I was born and raised a city girl...being in the country is like heaven to me!

We strive to bring you a quality puppy, that is given the right start, both health wise and emotionally.  We keep all of our dogs on a rigorous vaccination and deworming schedule.  All these records will be furnished to you when you adopt your puppy so that your vet is on board with what has been done.  Our pups are always vet checked prior to adoption day, for peace of mind, that  you are receiving a healthy puppy.

Our dogs are all fed a high quality dog food.  We feel this is extremely important to maintain all aspects of health.  We are currently feeding Diamond Naturals Small breed puppy to our pups and Taste of the Wild to our adults.  We encourage you to feed the same quality food or better.  For more info on dog food, www.dogfoodanalysis.com is a good place to go to see if what you are currently feeding, is a high quality food and why.

Our puppies are handled from Day 1!  They are born in our home (with me beside mama the whole time) and remain here until they are weaned. Each pup is weighed daily until about 3 weeks old to ensure they are all thriving and doing well.   I do not endorse potty pad training!!!  Our puppies are brought outside for potty breaks...rain or shine!  By 6 wks old I do move the pups to the kennel where they learn very quickly to potty outdoors and keep the indoors clean.  If I have a few days to a week prior to pickup I do bring the pup back to the house and work on crate training for you.   All our puppies are personality tested to help match them with the most suitable families.    I am pretty efficient at telling you which pups are going to bond better with your little ones based on how they interact with mine.  For those of you having your pups shipped or must wait a bit longer...NO WORRIES!  We will continue training as if it is our own puppy!  Altho, I cannot guarantee what your pup will learn we will be teaching nonetheless and continuing with the socialization process.  I feel socialization is VERY important and implement that in our daily routine.  If you have special considerations, let me know!  I want to hear about that so we can implement it so puppy makes the smoothest transition possible!

Other things that I feel are important to implement with a young pup is grooming.  All my years of grooming has taught me a thing or two!  Pups usually get their first of several baths by 6wks old.  Nail trims are done weekly from the time they are born.  Cavachons will have had a couple experiences getting trimmed with a scissors and clippers.  I hope that these experiences at a young age will help your new baby be more accepting of them in the future.

If you have any questions...I am always a phone call or email away.  I try to make myself just as much available after the puppy is sold as before.  These are the things you should expect from a quality breeder.  Someone who stands behind your puppy, who starts them right, and offers assistance when need be...

Moore's Darlin Cavaliers
This is Ariel, our lil ruby princess.  Our sire Aladdin and our female Anna are Aries littermates.  This line of Cavaliers are what I would term more sporty.  They are my little goers and very athletic dogs.  When in the house, Ariel is queen of my bed!
