Cavaliers come in 4 colors...black and tan, blenheim (white with rich chestnut markings), tri color (white with black and tan markings) and ruby (deep rich red). Although we generally are able to produce all 4 colors, ruby and blenheim are most commonly available. Check our puppies page to see what is currently available.
Moore's Darlin Cavaliers
This is Aladdin, aka AL, he is our ruby colored Cavalier sire. Al is very much a go getter. Very sporty! He tends to throw his wonderful deep ruby color and beautiful Cavalier head.
A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel belongs to the toy group. They are a toy spaniel that averages 12-13inches at the shoulder and 12-18 pounds at maturity. Not too small to be viewed as wimpy but not too big either! Just the perfect size for snugglin up on your lap. Something that ANY Cavalier owner will tell you their dog desires most.
They have a medium length coat that is fairly easy to maintain. It is extremely soft and just perfect for snuggling. They have the long spaniel ears and the huge pauper "lady in the tramp" eyes that make them absolutely irresistible. Cavaliers are moderate shedders and tend to blow their coats twice a year.
The Cavy has a great well rounded personality. Because of their gentle disposition they are great for the young and old alike. They get along well with children and other pets. A Cavalier is a fairly mellow dog that just adores to be close to people. They love a nice lap to curl up on but are equally ready to play when you are! Because of their strong desire to be with people they are happiest in a home where people can dedicate time to them. Exercise requirements are minimal. A 20 min walk a day will keep your Cavy happy, whether living on a farm or in an apartment. However, because of the explorative nature of a spaniel, a fenced yard is ideal.
